Our story
We've all been there. Driving through somewhere beautiful, catching a glimpse of something incredible off to the side, and carrying on because you didn't know if there was anywhere to stop.
Pullover exists to fix that. A community-led map of the spots worth stopping for - honest, practical, and built by the people who find them.
What we're building
Pullover is for the quiet moments. The unexpected views. The layby above the valley where you park up, make a brew, and watch the light change.
Every spot has been found and shared by someone in the community. Verified by our team. And described honestly - rough roads, busy seasons, and all.
Pullover is free to explore. Always. Some extra features may be available for subscribers in the future - but discovering and sharing brilliant spots will never cost a thing. We never sell your data.
The Pullover Pledge
We ask everyone who uses Pullover to look after the spots we share together.
- ·Take only photos. Leave only footprints.
- ·Take your rubbish home - including others' if you can.
- ·Leave gates as you find them.
- ·Respect wildlife, livestock, and other visitors.
- ·If a spot needs attention, report it.
These places exist because people care about them. Let's keep it that way.
Our values
Honest
We describe spots as they are. We flag tight roads, seasonal closures, and busy weekends. No overselling, ever.
Inclusive
Pullover is for everyone. We are actively working to make sure our spots, our app, and our community welcome people of all abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels.
Community First
Everything here was found by a real person. We will never pad our listings with places nobody has actually been. Quality over quantity, always.
Responsible
We care about the places we share. We encourage our community to leave spots exactly as they find them, respect local communities, and never share locations where visitor numbers could cause environmental harm.
Transparent
We are honest about what our data is and what it is not. Community-led means it is brilliant and it means it changes. We will always tell you when something needs verifying.
Safe
Your safety comes first. We would rather flag uncertainty than give false confidence. Always check conditions before you travel and trust your own eyes over our data when you are on the road.
