Real spots. Real people. Real talk.
Everything on Pullover is found and shared by van lifers, campervan owners, and curious travellers just like you.
Where our information comes from
Every spot on Pullover was submitted by a real person who pulled over, had a look around, and thought others should know about it. We do not scrape databases, generate locations with AI, or pad our listings with places nobody has actually visited.
When you look at a spot, you are reading information provided by someone who has been there. That makes it more useful than a guidebook - and it also means it is only as accurate as the person who submitted it and the date they visited.
All submissions go through a moderation process before they appear on the site. Our team reviews each one for accuracy, completeness, and safety. We reject spots that cannot be verified, that appear to be on private land, or that we believe could cause harm if shared.
What we verify and what we cannot
Our team checks that coordinates are plausible, that the spot description matches the type of location, and that there are no obvious safety or access issues. For verified spots, we have cross-referenced the location against mapping data and community reports.
What we cannot verify in real time: whether a road is currently passable, whether a gate has recently been locked, whether seasonal flooding affects access, or whether a landowner has changed their position on visitors. Conditions on the ground change constantly, and our data reflects a point in time.
Always check conditions before you travel. If something has changed at a spot, please report it so we can update or remove the listing.
A note on motorhome and vehicle access
Height restrictions, width restrictions, and weight limits
Where we know about height restrictions on the route to a spot, we display them clearly. But not every approach road has been assessed, and signage is not always present or visible. A height restriction badge on a spot page means we have a report of a restriction. The absence of a badge does not mean there are no restrictions.
If you are driving a larger vehicle - motorhome, high-top van, twin-axle - please always check your route before committing to it. OS Maps, Google Street View, and local knowledge are your best tools. Do not rely solely on Pullover data for vehicle clearance decisions.
We mark spots as motorhome friendly, small vans only, or unsuitable where this information has been reported. These are community assessments, not professional surveys. Use them as a starting point, not a guarantee.
Accessibility
Our accessibility data is community-reported
Accessibility information on Pullover is provided by community members and has not been independently verified by accessibility professionals. Where a spot is marked as accessible, this reflects the experience of the person who submitted it. Access needs vary enormously - what works for one person may not work for another.
We are actively working to improve the quality and consistency of our accessibility data. If you visit a spot and find the accessibility information is wrong or incomplete, please report it using the Report button on the spot page.
In your profile settings, you can tell us your accessibility needs and we will use that information to filter and flag spots accordingly.
Toilet facilities and opening times
Toilet availability, café opening times, and facility information are among the things most likely to change after a spot is submitted. Seasonal closures, local authority budget decisions, and temporary issues can all affect what you find when you arrive.
Where we show a facility badge - toilets, food and drink, overnight parking - this means it was reported by the submitter at the time of their visit. It does not mean the facility is guaranteed to be there when you arrive. Always have a backup plan.
Everyone is welcome here
Pullover is for everyone who loves being outside - regardless of ability, background, experience, or what they drive. We are actively working to make our platform, our data, and our community inclusive and welcoming.
Our community guidelines ask everyone to be respectful, honest, and kind. If you encounter anything on Pullover - a spot, a review, a comment - that makes you feel unwelcome or unsafe, please report it.
Responsible exploring
The spots on Pullover are often quiet, hidden, or fragile places. When we share them, we are asking the community to look after them. Please take your litter home. Keep noise to a reasonable level. Respect local communities and their land. Leave every spot exactly as you found it.
There are some spots we will not publish - places where sharing the location could cause environmental damage, disturb nesting wildlife, or cause harm to fragile habitats. We will always put the protection of a place above the value of sharing it.
If you find a spot that you think should not be shared publicly for any of these reasons, please get in touch at hello@gopullover.com.
Our promise to you
We will always be honest about what our data is and what it is not. We will never publish a spot we believe to be unsafe. We will always tell you when information needs verifying. And we will always put the safety and wellbeing of our community - and the places we share - above growth or commercial pressure.
Pullover is free to explore. Always. Some extra features may be available for subscribers in the future - but discovering and sharing brilliant spots will never cost a thing. We never sell your data.
