Peak District

You can join Fraggatt Edge after walking Curbar edge, and go onto the "Plague village of Eyam". All very enjoyable with stunning views over both Fraggatt and Curbar. Often less busy in the week. Be mindful of the high grit rough edges, adding to the thrill. We choose a clear day to get panoramic views.

Such a beautiful hidden waterfall with ruins of the old Arkwright protected mill ruins. There’s a little pullover for about 5 cars near the entrance and you’ll see the wooden fence with plague on it. Follow the path up from there - 2 mins walk

Not stayed overnight yet, but come here for dog walking. Great in hot weather as there are multiple places dogs can get in the river. Great if you are a runner/walker as you have miles of trails, can link to Bodmin town centre or Lanhydrock for lunch. Nice for kids too as there is a Gruffalo trail. There are decent toilets in the car park. Parking is about £6.

Stunning views, plenty of varying inclines and miles of walks. Impressive seeing people climbing and bouldering, albeit scary, and had a real sense of fun there. Easy free parking too.

Peak District
It took a while to get there as the place I parked at was quite a walk. Stunning waterfall. It might not be the biggest but it was beautiful nevertheless. Apparently it can get busy with families and swimmers.

Peak District
Stunning view and plenty to look at whilst you’re up there! Beware of parking, there’s signs everywhere but can get busy.

Love this place! In the middle of nowhere and great to switch off from the world

A beautiful place to visit with plenty of walks in the area, and for the avid cyclists.

Lovely castle ruin. The walk up the hill to the ruin is a bit steep but doable. Beautiful views of the area from the top.

Elvaston is one of my favourite places to pullover! A great walk around the grounds of Elvaston Castle, plenty of wildlife and you can feel the pull of the story that comes with it too

Parking down the side of the road before Hens cloud. Nice cafe with lovely views and toilets. Mixed terrain walk up to the brow of the hill with the mermaids pool. Boggy walk through to Luds Church, but we had alot of rain prior. Amazing place though! Lucky enough to get cloud inversion too.

Revisited this site in 2025, and wondered about who lived there and Derbyshire Neolithic life 5000 years ago. A great place to wonder around and usually all by yourself

One of my favourite spots. Great cafe, great for the kids and when there’s bands playing in the summer (checkout Larks in the Parks), and being able to hire a giant swan boat makes your day.

Peak District
Stunning views, great walks and goes on for miles! Also lots of benches to chill or take bikes out if you fancy that.

Peak District
Stunning views! Some paths leading down to the trail but didn’t explore them today. Cafe nearby to eat and lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view. No camping or overnight stays allowed.

Such a beautiful place! I often go for a stroll and look at the sights during my lunch break. Plenty of walks nearby too.
